Khelo India Athlete Scholarship (awarded in 2023)
The Khelo India Athlete Scholarship Scheme is part of the larger Khelo India initiative, which aims to encourage sports participation and excellence in India. It seeks to identify and support talented athletes at a young age, providing them with the necessary resources and infrastructure to excel in their chosen sport and represent India at national and international levels. Scholarship worth Rs 6.28 Lakh annually is awarded to the athlete towards training, meals, accommodation, and education at the Khelo India Academy. And out of which Rs 120000 is directly deposited into the athlete’s savings account

Abhinav Bindra Targeting performance awarded scholarship under STEAM. programme. (2019) Abhinav Bindra is an Indian Olympic shooter and one of the most accomplished sports personalities in India. He won the gold medal in the 10m Air Rifle event at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, making him the first Indian individual Olympic gold medallist. Bindra is known for his dedication to sports, discipline, and commitment to excellence.
